Welcome to  Magnify Kids

Magnify Church welcomes you and your family to our Sunday services. At Magnify Church we are passionate about supporting your children grow in their relationship in knowing and loving God.

We believe in the importance of what Jesus said “let the little children come to me, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” and we extend a warm invitation to your children to attend our Kids Church as they learn more about God and His Word – and have fun!

Children stay with family for the first part of church worship then head to Kids Church about 10.30am.

There is a Kids Church program each school term as well as a family service in the school holidays.

SPARK

2-5 years

IGNITE

6-9 years

Kids Church for both these age groups is downstairs.

We start with child-friendly action songs and morning tea, then separate into the two groups for our lesson plan and crafts.

Following this, the kids can enjoy games and supervised free play.

LIGHTHOUSE

10-13 years

These children meet in the lighthouse building adjacent to the main church.

They have a fun-filled program with planned lessons and games.

PARENT'S ROOM

0 – 2 years

We have a parents’ room available during the services for parents of newborns until two years. There is a live feed from the service, so you don’t have to miss anything. It is located to the left of the auditorium. There are nappy changing facilities in the larger bathroom and a microwave downstairs if required. Please see those welcoming at the door for more information.

Enrolment Procedures

We would be delighted to help you enrol your child, and if you need help, please ask.

Please fill out enrolment details, including any special needs information. Signing in your child in the attendance register every Sunday ensures their name is added to the enrolment.

 

Signing in and signing out

Each Sunday, please sign in your children upon arrival. At the end of the service, we request that you also sign out. Children may be anxious, so family members are welcome to accompany their child until they are comfortable and confident. If during the programme, your child needs you, we will bring them to you in the auditorium.

 

Child Protection

Magnify Church believes safety is very important and has a Safer Churches policy in place. We make every endeavour to ensure your children have fun while also learning about God and keeping safe.

All leaders are policed checked prior to being rostered on to Kids Church, and approved by Magnify Church leadership.  Our policy is that at all times, there will be two leaders per age group.

 

Discipline

We try to make our program fun and exciting so that children will be fully engaged. Positive behaviour is reinforced through rewards and encouragement. In extreme circumstances where a child has repeatedly misbehaved, he or she may be returned to their family members. Family will be advised of inappropriate behaviour.
