COVID-19

Dear Church,

As you may know, the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic has impacted our community here in New Zealand. With all the challenges this pandemic has presented we hope that you feel comforted and supported by your church family here at Magnify. You can watch online material through our homepage and also receive encouragement through our facebook page.

Due to at least four weeks of isolation, all of our usual face-to-face gatherings will not be operating and our church office will be closed. We will however, be checking church phone messages remotely every 24 hours. You can also contact us through our facebook page here.

Despite the difficulties COVID-19 has presented to Sunday church and additional events it is reassuring to remember that our God is our protector and our Helper:

Psalm 91
“Whoever goes to the Lord for safety,
whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty,
 can say to him,
“You are my defender and protector.
You are my God; in you I trust.”
He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers
and from all deadly diseases
.”

And since these times are stressful for many it is the perfect opportunity for the church to share the hope we have by the way we love one another,

John 13:34-35
“Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Therefore, as a church family, we would love to encourage you to think of others within the church that you can check up on and encourage by phone call or text.

Love

Tim and Sharon, and Magnify Team

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
